GOSLIN, Sophia Alice Burkett - Putnam

Mrs. W. W. Goslin, 77 years, 9 months and 26 days of age, died October 5, 1935. She was born October 9, 1858 in Fincastle. Sophia Alice Burkett was one of 12 children, daughter of Benton and Rebecca Burkett. She married William Walter Goslin of near Fincastle, Indiana, November 5, 1878. mother of five children; Cleo B., died March 1, 1896, but two sons and two daughters are still living; Mrs. James Grider and Burkett Goslin, Roachdale, James Goslin, Darlington, Mrs. Viva Hicks of Ladoga, and 6 grandchildren; Viola Grider, John William Goslin, Roachdale; Geneva Hicks Himes, Crawfordsville, Beatrice Hicks, Ladoga, Mariam Lucille and Susanna Goslin, Darlington.   --- thanks to Marilyn W
